When you begin a Zendesk import for the first time, you will need to go through a few steps to connect Zendesk as a data source for Coefficient.
Coefficient will need the following information: Account URL
There are 2 different ways to import data using Coefficient from Zendesk, “Start from Scratch” or from a “Saved View”. Starting from Scratch allows you to build a new import with the specific data you are looking for, importing from a Saved View allows you to pull in an existing view and build up.
Select “Start from Scratch”
Apply your filters to this import. Note: The filters use standard Zendesk fields, not custom fields (so if you have a custom priority field it will not be shown here).
Add/Select your dates. You can also specify a specific date range (example: Tickets from January 1, 2022, thru March 31, 2022, or Q1-2022). Then click “Select Fields”.
Check the boxes pertaining to the fields you would like included in your import. Note that custom fields are designated with an icon next to them. This should help you distinguish between standard and custom fields that have the same name. Fields/column header order can be adjusted by dragging and dropping the column to reflect the desired order. Click Done when you are finished adding and arranging your fields.
Here you can sort, update the import size and create a customized name for your import. The name can also be changed later. Click “Import”.
Congratulations on your Zendesk import with Coefficient!!! 🎉
