For templates using other data sources, please refer here.
Coefficient templates use a pre-defined selection of data fields and filters to power your dashboard. However, in many cases, you may prefer to use your company’s own custom fields instead.
Here is a simple guide to help you update the default fields with your own when connecting with Salesforce or HubSpot CRM templates.
In this example: Let’s say you are replacing the field Churn Date with your custom field called Contract End Date in our HubSpot MRR Template.
In the right sidebar, select the import which contains the fields you need to replace. (Example: ⚡ HubSpot Import)
Scroll down and click on + Add fields.
Select the field(s) you would like to add. (Example: Add Contract End Date)
Uncheck the field(s) you are replacing, so that your new field takes the same position in the list order. (Example: We unchecked Churn Date to remove it from our list, Contract End Date.) NOTE: If you are replacing a field that is not at the bottom of the list, you will need to drag your new field to the position immediately below the one you are replacing, BEFORE unchecking/removing the original field. This ensures that the new field lands in the same column as the original field.
Repeat the above steps for any other fields you would like to replace with custom fields. Once done, click on “Save and Run” to update your import and refresh your dashboard.
