When you begin a Salesforce import for the first time, you will need to go through a few steps to connect Salesforce as a data source for Coefficient.
Open the Coefficient Sidebar and click the Menu.
Select “Connected Sources”.
Select “Add Connection*”* at the bottom and then “Connect” to Salesforce.
Click “Authorize” to connect Coefficient to your Salesforce org.
Note: If you need to connect to a Sandbox instance, click the “Advanced Settings” and check the “Sandbox Mode” box.
Enter your username and password to log in. Click “Allow” and you should be redirected back to your sheet. You can then start creating Salesforce imports.
There are several ways to import data from Salesforce.
Let's go through each one!
Import from an existing Salesforce Report
Open the Coefficient Sidebar and click on the “Import from…” button.
Select “Salesforce” from the list.
Select “From Existing Report”.
Select the report from the list and hit “Import Report”.
Congrats on importing a Salesforce Report with Coefficient. 🎉
