When you begin a QuickBooks import for the first time, you will need to go through a few steps to connect to QuickBooks as a data source with Coefficient. đź’š
Note: You must have Admin access to QuickBooks in order to connect to Coefficient as a Data Source.
Due to the limitations of QuickBooks API, only 1 admin can be connected through Coefficient at a time.
Open the Coefficient Sidebar and click on the Menu.
Select Connected Sources.
Select “Add Connection” at the bottom and then “Connect” to QuickBooks.
Click “Connect to QuickBooks”.
Enter your credentials and hit Sign In. You may be directed to a screen prompting you to select your company/firm and client.
Importing from a Report allows you to create imports without having to write a query, you can simply select from the listed reports available in the sidebar. (Coefficient supports over 17 standard QuickBooks reports)
From the sidebar, select “Import from…”
Select “QuickBooks” from the list.
Choose “From QuickBooks Report”.
Choose a Report from the list then hit “Next”. (Example: “Sales By Class Summary”)
Customize your import from Report by choosing an option for the “Display Columns By” and adding additional filters like the “Report Period” and/or “Accounting method”. Select the fields you need and hit “Import”.
NOTE: Depending on the report you have selected, there may be additional options available.

Select “QuickBooks” from the list.
Choose “From Objects & Fields”.
