Coefficient makes it simple to create and manage imports; however, there may be times when you do not want other users to modify or change some of your import settings. With Coefficient, you can now specify permissions on your imports - how cool is that?😎
Locked Imports is a feature in Coefficient that allows the import owner/creator to decide who can make edits to their imports. The options include:
Coefficient also allows you to enable these settings for all of your imports within the current sheet or pick and choose as needed.
<aside> 💡 Note: By default, when a new import is created the permissions are set to “Anyone in my domain”. Existing imports that were created before this feature was launched automatically are set to “Anyone”. This can be changed by the owner at any time. Gmail users will only see “Only me” and “Anyone” as options.

As mentioned above there are 3 types of permissions to Lock Imports: “Only me”, “Anyone in my domain”, and “Anyone”. We’ll discuss each of them below. 🕵🏻
The example used: “All Opportunities” (Salesforce import)
Launch the Coefficient sidebar, and locate the import you would like to update. When you hover over the name, 3-vertical dots should appear. Click on the dots and select, “Permissions” from the list.
To update the ability to edit imports just you, select “Only me” from the options listed.
NOTE: The following message will also appear when the user clicks anywhere in the sidebar. They will need to contact the owner to make any changes.
